Target Audience
The study focuses on individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or other non-heterosexual identities, residing in Singapore and representing a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs, age groups, and professional fields.
Study Objectives
The objectives are to evaluate the relationship between experience in hypnosis, with or without LGBTQ-affirming components, and psychological well-being among sexual minority individuals in Singapore.
Study Process
The study will involve an online test and an online survey to measure hypnotic suggestibility, stress levels, and overall mental states. Some participants may take part in follow-up individual interviews to share experiences and feedback. All sessions will be facilitated by a trained professional in a confidential and supportive environment.
